Scope of the Symposium

The Organizing Committee cordially invites you to participate in the 4th International Symposium on the Catalysis for Clean Energy and Sustainable Chemistry to be held in Bilbao, Spain, from 9th to 11th of July, 2018. The spirit of the Organizing Committee of this International Symposium is organizing a worldwide encounter between scientists and industrialists with interest in the technological aspects of application of catalysis to the sustainable development.

This symposium will help to review the present state of the art of these technologies and to discuss the possible future directions of their evolution, and of course, how they can revert positively in the development of the society.

March 15th April 10th 2018. Deadline for reception of abstracts
May 2nd 2018. Notification of abstracts acceptance
May 25th 2018. Deadline for early registration (reduced fees)

March 6, 2018 | ccesc2018 We are pleased to announce that registration for CCESC 2018 is now open! Please be aware that the early bird rate ends on May 25th. The authors of abstracts must register before that date. Read more about the registration conditions here.

Guest speakers confirmed

January 23, 2018 | ccesc2018 We have now confirmed some of the guest speakers who will be at CCESC 2018: Regina Palkovits, from the RWTH Aachen University (Germany), Javier Pérez-Ramírez, from ETH Zurich (Switzerland), and Graham Hutchings, from the Cardiff University, United Kingdom. Venue: Faculty of Engineering in Bilbao

Having been in existence for over 100 years, the Faculty of Engineering of Bilbao is one of the oldest faculties of the UPV/EHU-University of the Basque Country. It is located in the heart of Bilbao, the capital city of Bizkaia and the trade, social and cultural center and one of the most advanced European cities in services and quality of life.
