The Organizing Committee has prepared a Pintxos Tour for all the attendees of CCESC 2018 in July 9th. The pintxos are the Basque Country´s miniature gastronomic art form, tasty food which come in many shapes and forms and showcase the very best ingredients sourced from both land and sea.
The 2nd Workshop of the PROMECA project on Membrane Development and Membrane Reactors will be held in Donostia-San Sebastián (Spain) in July 13th. Its objective is to present the state of the art of membranes for gas separation, catalysts and membrane reactors, indicating the industrial specifications and the modelling and design of innovative plants based on membrane reactors technologies.

The Organization has negotiated special rates with different hotels in Bilbao for CCESC 2018 attendees. However, it will be high season in the city, so we do recommend booking your accommodation now, in order to assure the availability. Bookings will be done directly with the hotel or Residence Hall.
Bilbao has been named European City of the Year at the 2018 Urbanism Awards. The Spanish city fought off strong competition from fellow finalists Ljubljana and Vienna after a summer of assessment visits and subsequent vote by Academicians. The award was collected by the city’s Mayor, Juan Marí Aburto, who delivered a seminar on the reasons behind Bilbao’s success.
